Polish your dancing shoes - the school disco is this Friday, 2 March! This will follow the usual format, with KS1 disco taking place at 5.30-6.30pm, followed by KS2 disco at 6.45-8pm. £2 per child. Details were given in the newsletter dated 21 February 2012 which was sent out via book bags. KS1 children - those in Classes R, 1 & 2 - pay on the door only. Please bring exact change if possible to avoid delays on the door. Drinks and sweets will be on sale too so you may want to bring some loose change for refreshments. 50p-£1 per child would be plenty. Parents (or other responsible adult) need to stay with KS1 children for the duration of the disco although one adult can be responsible for more than one child. Younger siblings are also welcome but need to be supervised by an adult at all times for the safety and enjoyment of all. The KS2 disco is pay in advance only. This is because parents/adults do not need to stay and therefore we need all the relevant contact names and phone numbers in advance. Any names/numbers given must be contactable during the disco, in case of any emergency or other incident. This would be too time-consuming on the door, causing long delays, and with also carry the risk that children may be dropped off without knowing relevant telephone numbers. Everyone attending either disco is expected to behave in a respectful and courteous manner, while having fun of course! Rudeness or disruptive behaviour is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. In such instances, parents will be contacted to remove their child from the disco so that others may continue to enjoy themselves in a safe and relaxed environment. Drinks and sweets will also be on sale. 50p-£1 spending money per child should be plenty!
