Cake Raffle

Our winner this term was Carol Ward, congratulations! We raised £99 via this activity. Thank you to Natasha Hicks for volunteering to bake and decorate the cake. If you have a talent for making cakes and would like help out next time please do speak to someone on the PTA Committee!

Second-Hand Uniform

Sale next week - The Boutique (behind class 2) will be open for business this Thursday 7th April at 2:45 – 3:30pm.  There are plenty of summer uniforms and PE kits. All purchases will come with a free pair of plimsolls!!

If you have any second hand uniform in good condition that you wish to donate or sell (with half the money going to the PTA) then please contact Nicola Falla or Melody Shaw in the playground or via the school office.

School Disco
Ipswich Hospital Radio filled the school hall with multi-coloured lights and dancing beats for the PTA discos.

There was a great atmosphere and all the children (and parents!) must be congratulated for their excellent behaviour and ability to consume vast quantities of sweets! In fact so many were bought during the KS1 disco that emergency supplies had to be sent for before the KS2 children arrived! Many thanks to all the parents who helped before, during and after the discos, we couldn’t do it without you. All in all a good fun evening that raised around £200 for PTA funds.

Music Quiz Night

The last annual Music Quiz on 25th March was a great success, thank you to Stephen Foster for the many quizzes he has hosted for us over the past decade, we will miss you and this event. Thank you too to everyone who took part, we thought it was quite hard this year, or was this just us??!  We raised over £225 at this event!

Sponsored Read

We were so pleased to see the results of the Sponsored Read this term, lots of children put a lot of effort and time into this and our three top fund raisers were Jessica Brunning, Nathanael Banks and Imogen Shaw – well done to you all and thank you! The 3 children have all chosen a book and will be presented with them before the end of term. In total we raised a huge £850 (approx) and this money will be spent on curriculum books that will be used throughout the school.

Happy Mother’s Day to you!

As always, the children enjoyed choosing the ideal gift for their beloved mums/carers!  We hope you liked it and enjoyed a lovely relaxing day!

We already have two dates set for next term, please put these on your calendar!
